VOGUE 1916
The cover of the first issue of Vouge, September 1916, was such a masterpiece. And it sure did change the world of fashion.
'The time has come,' designers say, 'to talk of many things, - of shoes and furs and lingerie, and if one flares or clings, and where the waist-line ought to be, and whether hats have wings.' They have confided in Vogue all the most intimate things about autumn fashions. Really and truly, such amazing things are going to happen to you that you never would believe them, unless you saw them in Vogue."

ICON: Diane Von Furstenberg
I just read an intervju of Diane Von Furstenberg in ELLE UK, and I must say, This woman is AMAZING. She is not only a great designer, but her story and work is really inspiring. I have always admired her work, and thought she was an really interesting person, but this intervju made me realize that I have so much to learn. Just to read about such great personalities is both inspiring and motivating. I'm not saying that I ever will achieve what she has (one can only dream), but why not use some of her life experience that she is sharing with us, to achieve some of your own dreams. And believe me, everything is possible, you just have to believe it by heart.
Diane Von Furstenberg was born in Belgium in 1946, moved to New York at the age of 21 and by 1976 she had sold millions of her wrap dresses. She is now the president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America and on the board of Woman's Leadership Organisation Vital Voices. Today she has two children and lives with her second husband Barry Diller.

"Attitude is the secret to style"

J'aime la France
I love how french women dress, their attitude and natural makeup. Classy yet fashionable. Think Nice, Cannes, Paris and st.Tropez and work it. Here's a few examples.

Long Time
